Zahraa Abboud, a mother from southern Lebanon, was forced to flee her home with her daughter Zeinab, who lives with cerebellar atrophy and refractory epilepsy. Displacement placed additional challenges and obstacles in her way as she struggled to secure her daughter’s basic healthcare needs. Zahraa shares her experience of navigating displacement and caring for her daughter amid difficult circumstances, refusing to give up, and shares a message for every mother and for the people of southern Lebanon.
