Over decades of beekeeping, he built an apiary, orchards, and crops, only to see them destroyed multiple times by war. In one blow, he lost 250 avocado trees, tobacco fields, his house, and his bees, wiping out what felt like 35 years of work. Yet, like the bees that endure every season, he continues to rebuild.
